Depression and Anxiety
Fear and sadness are a normal part of being human. However, sometimes, these emotions can become overwhelming and unbearable. They may also start affecting our daily lives, our ability to function and our relationships.
Depression and anxiety often go hand in hand. Constant feelings of anxiety can lower our mood. Similarly, constant feelings of sadness can make us feel anxious about the prospect of never feeling happiness again. We may get caught in viscous cycles where we start feeling anxious, then we also start feeling depressed because of the anxiety, and then we feel even more anxious because the depression is not lifting. And the cycle continues.
When we’re caught in these cycles it can be very difficult to find a way of disrupting the pattern and breaking out. It may seem like life will always be like this from now on, But it doesn’t have to be like this forever; Everything passes. Sometimes we just need a little bit of help.
